Every Christmas, the world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. But our pilgrims had the rare privilege of standing at the very spot where it happened inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

Built over the traditional site of Jesus’ birth, this ancient church is one of the oldest continuously operating Christian churches in the world. Descending into the grotto and kneeling at the silver star that marks the birthplace of our Lord, many of our pilgrims were overcome with emotion and gratitude.

For every believer who has sung “O Little Town of Bethlehem” visiting this place makes every word of that song come alive in a way nothing else can.
